Will there ever be an overly developed super computer that will out rightly phase out the human brain?  The intellectual rivalry between these two dynamic concepts has eaten out a lot of research papers yet there hasn’t been a solid conclusion to this case. The brain is the largest and the most complex part of the human body; it serves a command centre or better yet the motherboard of the human body, it serves as a connective into pieces of information encoded due to its function.

The brain accepts information and stores it in deep mass storage; the storage capacity is beyond scientific calculations. The Human Brain cannot be challenged due to its Mortality, it’s a living organ. There has not been a scientific breakthrough that can top that.

Contrary to the divides, both concepts actually share similarities in functions and in purposes. While a video is uploading on the computer screen, a video is constantly resonating in the mind of an individual- which is the brain’s function. The brain performs the job of gazillion super computers; helps with the thinking, calculations, reasoning and writing. Super Computers can’t be equated to such mind blowing features.

Electronic Devices:  it is a known phenomenon that a computer is an electronic device. The human brain can be described as an electronic device because it makes use of neurons to connect information while a computer utilises the binary system to electronically function.

Storage Capacity:

A computer and a brain can multiply their storage capacity; A computer adds chips and pre installed flash players while the brains strength in storage rises in accordance to the amount of synaptic connections. Sadly they both suffer breakdowns, a computer can malfunction and the same goes for the human brain, some brain cells can become cancerous. Due to age, infirmities , brain cells tend to weaken . We have established the fact that both concepts suffer breakdowns but they do have back up systems. The computer as an array of backed up files on its storage, the same applies for the human brain, if a brain pathway is damaged, a back up pathway will be provided.

The basic purpose of the brain and the computer is subjective reasoning; the human brain is a legal entity that occupies time, space and weight. The velocity of computing information in both concepts cannot be estimably measured. A brain is made up of tissues, ligaments while a computer is made up of wires and cables. The brain is the host of sheer thinking while the computer feeds on the knowledge the user strikes on it. Both are used in mathematical calculations, solving complex algorithms and curating ideas and content.

They both operate by transmitted logical signals; Apart from their electronical benefits, the human brain and the computer build up thinking, reflexes which strengthens human relations, society and civilisation.  They give reason behind every logical explanation; separate fallacies from correct reasoning. For example, while typing on Microsoft word, if one makes a blunder or a grammatical error, the computer automatically highlights the errors. The brain is a computer to our hearts and our bodily functions. Electronically catering for our physical and social needs.
